Neighborhood Index for Lilleakerbyen

How can well-being and quality of life be measured on a neighbourhood level and how is it linked to the places we stay and live in?

Faced with this complicated task, we initially carried out an extensive review of indicators related to quality of life and well-being. Drawing out key indices that were relevant to a neighbourhood level, we developed what we termed the Neighbourhood Indicator. Subsequently, we piloted the Index in the Oslo neighbourhood of Lilleaker. We did this by developing and disseminating a digital survey followed by an analysis of the collected data.
